Roland Wayne Blankenship II

Roland Wayne Blankenship II, 47, of Kingsville, Mo., died Wednesday, Nov. 28 at home.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home in Holden, Mo. Cremation will follow.
He was born Dec. 25, 1964 in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Roland and Sherlene (Sherrell) Blankenship. He served a short time in the U.S. Army and lived most of his life in Independence, Mo. He moved to Kingsville in 2001. He worked as a warehouseman.
Roland married Diana Groves on June 10, 1984 in Independence.
He leaves his wife, Diana, of the home; four daughters, Tammy Gustin, of Kingsville, Christina Marsh, of Holden, Brittany Blankenship, of Kingsville, and Samantha Shroyer, of Kingsville; a brother, Leroy Blankenship, of Kingsville; a sister, Cathy Yuille, of Independence; his father, Roland Blankenship, of Stockton; his mother, Sherlene Sherrell, of Kingsville; and five grandchildren. An infant daughter preceded him in death.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Roland Blankenship Memorial Fund.
