George Scott

George Mark Scott, 89, of Holden, Missouri, formally of Fort. Scott, Kansas, died April 6 at the Holden Manor Care Center.
No Services are scheduled at this time.
George was born July 18, 1927, to Nathaniel Mark Scott and Marie (Canatsey) Scott in Blue Mound, Kansas. He served in the United States Army and after his discharge, George worked as a teacher in California before moving to Ft. Scott Kansas where he worked as a probation and parole officer.
George is survived by one son Damon Mark Scott, of Holden; one daughter, Shyla Buxton and husband Charlie, of Holden; one sister Charlene Bushner, Lee’s Summit, Missouri; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions can be made to the National Humane Society in Memory of George Mark Scott.
