Billy Brown

Billy Clyde Brown, 16, of LaTour, Missouri, died Thursday, March 9, at home.
Visitation will be at the Forward Community Church 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dexter Snyder and Pastor Tim Whitmore officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Billy was born Dec. 26, 2000, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Jimmy Jay Brown and Laura Elizabeth (Wilckens) Brown. Billy was a student at Holden High School and played in many sports in school, including wrestling, track and football. Outside of school Billy enjoyed his time with friends and hanging out with the youth at Forward Community Church. Billy had an infectious smile and was willing to share that smile with everyone. Billy was a member of the First Christian Church where he was baptized.
Billy was preceded in death by his grandfather Louis Wilckens. Surviving his passing are his father Jimmy Brown and wife Aimee, of Belton, Missouri; his mother Laura Brown, of Latour; grandparents Linda Wilckens, of Belton, JC and Ann Brown, of Belton, John and Susan Getty, of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Grace Ashbeck of Belton; two brothers, Brandon Brown, of LaTour, and Beau Brown, of Belton; two sisters, Eleanor Brown, of Kansas City, Tess Wilckens, of LaTour, and one nephew, Camden McLaughlin.
Memorial contributions can be made on memory of Billy Clyde Brown to the Billy Brown Memorial Fund in care of Ben Cast and Son-Wood Funeral Home.
