Sallie V. Collett, 87, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Country Club Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Northside Christian Church in Warrensburg with Pastor Sid Tiller officiating. Pallbearers will be Loyd Bell, John Sartin, Bob Thoman, Ernie Courtwright, Roger Deuschle and Larry Shinkle. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Stuart Smith, John Meyer, Dan Curtis, Gary Curtis, Ray Espey, Eugene Bell and Billy Bell.
Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.
She was born Oct. 4, 1927, in rural Johnson County, Missouri, the daughter of Harry and Audrey (Osborn) Brauer.
She was united in marriage to Wallace Collett on May 2, 1952, in Warrensburg.
Sallie graduated from Warrensburg College High in 1946. She worked at Unitog Uniform Manufacturing as a seamstress for many years. Sallie enjoyed china painting, quilting, crocheting and canning vegetables out of her garden. She was a former member of the Valley City Christian Church in Johnson County and one of the founding members of Northside Christian Church in Warrensburg.
Sallie is survived by her husband, Wallace; three children, Aaron Ray Collett and wife, Colette; and Donald Collett and wife, Kari, all of Warrensburg; and Lynette Corbett and husband, Jeff, of Knob Noster, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Curtis Collett and wife, Tabbatha, Rylan Collett and Dylan Collett, Clayton Corbett, Rachael Teaney and husband, JJ, Emily Collett and Bailey Robinson and husband, Loyd.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
 
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Northside Christian Church Building Fund or Show-Me Christian Youth Home and both can be left in care of the funeral home.
