Norma 'Janette' Dalke

Norma “Janette” Dalke, 79, of Lone Jack, Missouri, died Sunday, Aug. 16, at her home.
Following cremation, private services will be scheduled.
Janette was born Dec. 12, 1935, in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Joe J. and Dorothy (Costigan) Bowers. She graduated from high school in Lone Jack and attended nursing school. She was united in marriage to Tedd Dalke on June 9, 1956, at Lone Jack Christian Church. Due to her husband’s military career, the couple lived all over the world. Following Tedd’s military career, they retired to Lone Jack. Janette was a nurse at John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include son, Tedd Michael Dalke, and wife, Jacqui, of Kingsville, Missouri; daughter, Deborah Jo Browning, and husband, Gary, of Oak Grove, Missouri; brother, J. R. Bowers, and wife, Delma, of Lone Jack, Missouri; two sisters, Judy Dornes, and husband, Herb; and Barbara Early and husband, Arnell, all of Lone Jack; brother-in-law, Alan Hite of Lone Jack, Missouri; grandson, Michael Gentry, and wife, Amanda, of Grain Valley, Missouri; and great-grandson Carson Gentry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tedd, and sister, Joann Hite.
Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.
