Mules, Jennies cross country capture Central Methodist Invite titles

(FAYETTE, Mo.) — The Central Missouri Mules and Jennies Cross Country teams each captured their respective team titles at the Central Methodist/Gary Stoner Invitational in Fayette on Saturday morning.
The Jennies had five of the top eight finishers in the women’s race led by Comelani Wilson‘s third place finish in a 5K time of 18:41.03. Teammate Megan Glamann finished in fourth place in a time of 18:43.05. UCM also had the sixth, seventh and eighth place finishers in Allie Rexroat (18:59.05), Kacy Hession (19:01.29) and Courtney Klaty(19:09.92). Additionally, Samantha Brolaski finished in 13th place in a time of 19:12.89 and Alissa Keil was 18th (19:25.24).
The Mules’ top finisher was Tyler Stuber with a fifth-place finish in an 8K time of 25:22.60. Bryson Jarman was sixth in a time of 25:29.17. Ben Barrows came in eighth for the Mules with a time of 25:44.76 while Adam Tredway was 11th in 26:04.83. Sophomore Cameron Bogue came in 18th with a time of 26:31.62.
The Mules and Jennies are both back in action Oct. 20 at the MIAA Championships in Maryville.
