Charles A. Geyser

Charles A. Geyser, age 73, of Knob Noster, Missouri, died Tuesday, April 7, at the Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care House.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri, with Chaplain Ken Johnson officiating and full military honors provided by the Whiteman Air Force Base Honor Guard.
He was born August 8, 1941, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the son of Howard and Sarah (Remmel) Geyser.
On July 3, 1962, he was united in marriage to Gloria Basal in Marquette, Michigan.
Charles graduated from West Allegheny High School in Imperial, PA.  He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1958 serving in Vietnam and retired after 20 years with the rank of Staff Sergeant.  Charles later worked in civil service at Whiteman Air Force Base for several years until his retirement. He worked as custodian at the Warrensburg United Methodist Church.
Charles is survived by his wife Gloria, one son, Charles Geyser, Jr. of Knob Noster, Missouri; one daughter, Sara Stewart and husband Randy of Cassville, Missouri; three grandchildren, Brandy Ash of Park Hill, Missouri; Jasmin Geyser of Florida, and Tyler Trotter of Cassville, Missouri; and two great-grandsons, Quintin Bailey and Tatum Wolfe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Howard Geyser, Jr., and one sister, Mary Alice Alig.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and can be left in care of the funeral home.
