Elizabeth Rose “Sharwarko, 31, of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
The family will receive family and friends at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg on Monday, Feb. 16th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with service following at 7:30 p.m.
Liz was born July 9th, 1983 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. She spent the early part of her life living at various Air Force Bases with 5 years being in Turkey. In 1992 her family settled in Warrensburg. She graduated from Warrensburg High School in 2001. Anyone that knew Liz could describe her with 3 words: crazy, funny, and most importantly, caring. She spent the majority of her short adult life caring for others. She was a C.N.A. at various nursing homes including the Benton House in Lee’s Summit and spent 8 years caring for our veterans at the Warrensburg Veterans Home.
She leaves behind the love of her life, Thomas Bruels and their dog, Farley; mother, Rose Sharwarko; father and stepmother, John and Judith Sharwarko, all of Warrensburg, MO; her brother and sister-in-law, Nick and Krystal Sharwarko of Rapid City, South Dakota; her nieces, Zoey and Emma Sharwarko, also of Rapid City, South Dakota; step-brothers, Danny and Brian McFadden of Colorado as well as numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by both paternal grandparents, John and Betty Sharwarko, and maternal grandparents, Mauro and Barbara Ciotola.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Warrensburg Animal Shelter or the Missouri Veterans Home in care of Williams Funeral Chapel.
