Sandra Lee Bales, 54, of Kingsville, Missouri, passed away Sunday, Jan. 25 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015 at Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden, Missouri with Rev. Bradford Bray of All Saints Lutheran Church in Blue Springs officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery north of Holden.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.
Sandra was born Jan. 21, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Rufus L. and B. Ellen (Blake) Bales. She was raised in Blue Springs, having graduated from Blue Springs Senior High School in 1979. She was employed with Happy Foods in Kansas City for 32 years. Sandra worked at Langley Recycling in Kansas City at the time of her passing. She enjoyed reading, riding four wheelers and spending time with her nieces. Sandra baked many wedding and birthday cakes throughout the years.
Survivors include her parents: Rufus and Ellen; two brothers: Gene Bales and Dale Bales and wife, Janet, all of Kingsville; two nieces, two great nephews, four great nieces and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents.
