Brent Howard Jacobs

Brent Howard Jacobs, 56 of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Independence died Sunday, Jan. 9, at his residence.
Brent was born Jan. 21, 1958, in Kansas City, the son of Arthur James Jacobs Jr. and Patricia May (Hoban) Jacobs. He was raised in Independence, Missouri, having graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1976. He lived in Independence for the majority of his life. Brent enjoyed attending the various churches in the area, including singing in their choirs. He also loved cooking and pot luck socials.
He is survived by two sisters, Karen Jacobs of Kansas City, Kansas; and Patricia Haller and husband, Kirk, of Raytown, Missouri; four brothers, Tim Jacobs and wife, Lori, of Independence; Drew Jacobs and wife, Lisa, of Independence; Kevin Jacobs and fiancé, Bonnie, of Richmond, Missouri; and Marc Jacobs of Independence; sister-in-law, Norma Jacobs of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, John Jacobs.
There will be a private graveside service at the Holden Cemetery.
Arrangements entrusted to Williams Funeral Chapel in Holden.
