Marian Luvinnie Gray, 90, of Blue Springs, Missouri, formerly of Warrensburg, Missouri, died Monday, Dec. 29, at St. Mary’s Manor in Blue Springs.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2015, at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg with Elder Judy Edmunds officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Interment will follow at Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 10, 1924, in rural Henry County, Missouri, the daughter of Lester George and Maggie Eunice (Beckett) Hutchinson.
She was united in marriage to John Robert Gray on Oct. 11, 1945, in Shawnee Mound, Missouri, at the home of her parents.
Marian was a longtime member of Community of Christ Church in Warrensburg until she moved to the Colonial Hills Community Christ Church in Blue Springs. She worked at Central Missouri State University for many years as a key punch operator.
They were blessed with three children, Marilyn Davis and husband, Ted, of Bonne Terre, Missouri; Robert Gray and wife, Carol, of Vernon, Arizona; and Jay Gray and friend, Diane Harris, of Blue Springs; one brother, David Hutchinson and wife, Karen, of Loveland, Colorado; six grandchildren, Katie Spink, Jayson Gray, Heather Winter, Kalee Schooley, Matthew Davis and Ryan Gray; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, L.G. Hutchinson.
