Mules Football to appear on National Television

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) — The Central Missouri Mules football team will face Truman State on national television Thursday night.
The game is schedule to air at 7:06 p.m. as the CBS Sports Network/Division II Game of the Week.
Mule Train donors are invited to the pre-game tailgate tent located just to the west of Walton Stadium. The parking lots will open at 4 p.m. with the pre-game tailgate opening at 5 p.m. with food and beverage for Mule Train donors. Guests who are interested in joining the Mule Train may accompany members at a cost of $5 per person. Non-Mule Train donors may park in the “Mule Stable” lots north of the UCM Physical Plant beginning at 4 p.m.
Fans are invited to greet the Mules football squad as they make their way to the field with the “Mule Walk” approximately 10 to 15 minutes prior to the game. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:06 p.m. The team will walk south from the locker room down Washington Street behind Walton Stadium and into the South entrance.
KMOS TV will also carry the broadcast. 1450 KOKO, 98.5 The Bar and www.warrensburgradio.com will begin broadcast coverage at 5:40 p.m. with the Bob Showers of Ameritas Investment Corp. Pregame Show. 90.9 The Bridge will pick up the broadcast at kickoff.
Following the Mules and Bulldogs game, the Fitter’s Scoreboard Show will take place live from Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field.
Prior to the football game on Thursday, the eighth-ranked Jennies soccer team will host Washburn at 4 p.m. at Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex in the MIAA home opener. The Jens are 4-0-2 overall and 1-0-1 in conference play. The Jennies will close out their weekend on Saturday afternoon hosting Emporia State at 4 p.m. at Jennies Field
The No. 8-ranked Jennies Volleyball team will close out the week of home events with an MIAA showdown against Truman State on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
