Scott Edward Allen

Scott Edward Allen, 48, of Holden, Mo., died Wednesday, April 16, at his residence. 
Scott was born Nov. 15, 1965, in Independence, Mo. He graduated from Holden High School. Shortly after, he attended Central Texas College in Killeen. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1987. Scott was stationed in Germany for three years. He served as an MP until his honorable discharge in 1995. Following active duty, he returned to the Holden area. He was employed with Iron Workers Local Union No. 10 for nearly the past 20 years. Scott enjoyed hunting, fishing, smoking and canning. 
Survivors include his significant other, Christine Ruby of Holden; two sons, Christopher Allen of Holden and James Allen and wife, Lisa, of Independence; granddaughter, Addilyn Marie Allen; sister, Radonna Willis of Los Angeles, Calif.; brother, Todd Allen and wife, Stacie, of Goodyear, Ariz.; stepmother, Brenda Allen of Kingsville, Mo.; and three stepbrothers, Scott Harper of Kingsville, Robbie Allen of Holden, and Eric Allen of Holden. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Allen, this past year.
