Jerry James Bowring

Jerry James Bowring, 50, of Holden, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 19 at home.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23 at Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home in Holden. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday. Cremation will follow services.
He was born in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Ronald and Dorothy Bowring. He graduated from high school at Lincoln, Mo., and had worked in aircraft manufacturing for Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, Kan. He married Lisa Lee on Oct. 20, 2005, in Warrensburg, Mo.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Lisa Bowring, of the home; one son, Travis Bowring, of Kansas City; parents, Ronald and Kitty Bowring, of Wichita; and Dorothy Thomas in Pa.; three brothers, Sam Bowring (Sheri), of Frisco, Texas; Dave Bowring, of Wichita; and Roger Bowring, of Milton, Pa.; and two sisters, Shannon Bettis and Rhonda Ewertt, both in Wichita.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Bowring; grandparents, Naomi Bowring, Crutcher and Paula Tharpe; and a nephew, Dave Bowring Jr.
