Aaron Thomas Lerda

Aaron Thomas Lerda, 31, of Holden, Mo., was found dead at his home on Monday, Dec. 16.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 at Forward Community Church in Holden under the direction of Ben Cast & Son – Wood Funeral Home, in Holden. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Holden. 
He was born May 12, 1982, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., a son of Tony and Harriet (Scrutchfield) Lerda. He attended school in Holden and lived there most of his life. Aaron had worked for Hanna Farms and O&M Enterprises in Holden and for a time at Wentworth Academy in Lexington. He attended Forward Community Church in Holden.
Aaron is survived by his son, Aaden Lerda, of Greenwood, Mo.; his parents, Tony Lerda and Harriet Smith, both of Holden; three brothers, David Lerda,  Joshua and Joseph Treece, all of Holden; grandparents June Scrutchfield, of Holden, and Jolene Harris, of Wichita, Kan.; and step-grandparents, Bill Harris, of Wichita, and Andrea Lerda, of Winterhaven, Fla.
Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Aaron Lerda Memorial Fund for benefit of his son.
