(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – The city and the Warrensburg Fire Department are sponsoring a non-perishable food drive in the Warrensburg area.
“The holiday season is particularly hard on some people and families in our community,” said Chief Jim Kushner in a news release. “Helping to keep the Food Pantry in stock is the least we can do to help.”
Donations for the food drive will be accepted through Jan. 1, 2014.”
There are two drop-off locations in Warrensburg – City Hall, located at 102 S. Holden St., and the Warrensburg Community Center at 445 E. Gay St. Non-perishable food items may be left at these locations during business hours.
The Warrensburg Fire Department will also be at area grocery stores throughout the holidays to accept donations.
