Claude B. “Rex” Brown, 69, of Warrensburg, has died; funeral is Aug. 10

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.)–Claude B. “Rex” Brown, 69, of Warrensburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City.
Rex was born September 11, 1942 in Warrensburg, the son of Claude B. and Lois C. (Adams) Brown. He graduated from Warrensburg High School and he was a lifelong Warrensburg resident.
He was a custodian at University of Central Missouri, retiring after 25 years of service. He was also the host of “Fiddling Around With Rex Brown” on the U.C.M. radio station for several years.  He loved country music.
Rex is survived by his sister: Lois Sue Brown of Warrensburg. He was preceded in death by both parents. Funeral services will be Friday, Aug. 10, at 2 p.m at Williams Funeral Chapel in Warrensburg with Rev. Albion Mends, Jr. officiating.  Interment will follow in Warrensburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
