    Lynne M. Palmer

    Lynne M. Palmer, age 50, of Knob Noster, died Tuesday, Sept. 17 at John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit, MO.

    She was born Sept. 29, 1962, in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Lou and Alma Perna.Lynne M Palmer

    On Aug. 17, 1985, she married Billy Palmer in Cheyenne, WY.

    Lynne was a graduate of Central High School in Cheyenne, WY.  After military retirement, Billy, Lynne, and family moved to Knob Noster in June 1995.

    She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  Lynne was a member of the Knob Noster United Methodist Church.  Some of her favorite past times were working in her garden and taking her granddaughters to the movies for popcorn and squishies.  Lynne went home to be with her granddaughter, Trinity.

    Lynne is survived by her husband Billy; three daughters, Desiree Deuschle and husband Justin of Kansas City, MO, Alycia Palmer and Kasey Palmer, both of Knob Noster, MO; her mother, Alma Perna of Cheyenne, WY; her mother in-law, Marge Palmer of Knob Noster, MO, and three granddaughters, Morgan Palmer, Faith and Hailey Deuschle.

    She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Trinity LeAnne Palmer, her father Lou Perna, one brother Robert Perna, and her father in-law Bill Palmer, Sr.

    Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013, at the Knob Noster Cemetery with Reverend Bryan Wendling officiating. Friends may call after 12 Noon Friday, September 20, 2013, at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.  Pallbearers will be Dustin Huntsman, Shane Huntsman, Joseph Palmer, Dillon Palmer, Dalton Palmer, and Gilbert Black.

    Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lynne M. Palmer Memorial Fund with checks made payable to Billy Palmer and can be left in care of Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.
